I have a 2001 Dodge Stratus RT and when it idles below 1000 RPMs it dies after the motor is warmed up such as while stopping at a red light. It will immediately restart. Recently the Service Engine Light came on and the error code indicated that it is a crank shaft position sensor. It is a 3.0 V6 engine. Does this sound accurate for the problem? I have been told it is more likely the idle air control valve. Anyone else experienced this problem and if so how did you fix it?
