Okay, before i went to the shop and asked, i have been looking for these everywhere online to no avail. Finally i went to the shop when i had to get my bumper fixed and asked them....they said i needed to buy the whole door panel just for those small parts( i need the front driver and front passenger side ones)


So does anyone know where i can just get those window switch covers?? Or is anyone parting out their wreck that i can buy these parts from them? Or just plain buy them from someone?

 

I wish I could help ya, but Im in the same situation as you are. I need the Driver side one and the dealer only sells the whole door panel for like $700. The cover is actually molded into the door panel. I have been checking ebay, and the passenger side is pretty easy to find, but I havent came across a driver side panel yet.

 

My local Dodge dealership said they can order them. But they gave me the part # and I did an internet search and found it cheaper online, it was going to be $35 thru dealer

 

Are you sure its for the part that covers the window switch?? I thought It only came with the doors. Could I get the part number? Andy maybe the website where you found it . I would appreciate it

 

First off, you all need to remember the Stratus comes in 2 forms. The sedan which is American and the coupe which is Mitsubishi (Diamond Star), The parts you're talking about could be 2 totally different pigs. Second, nobody even mentioned year model. On the coupe I believe it is a metal Bezel that is removeable, the sedan is plastic and molded to the door panel. You can take off the door manel drill some new holes and use a couple self tapping screws to rig it. Thats' what I had to do. Works still after 3 years.

On the sedan...no you have to buy the door panel on 2001-2004 im sure. I do know I ordered a panel for a 2002 and after 3 months of waiting Mopar cancelled my order and discontinued the part. Good luck with yours.
