1998 Stratus seats - Seat covers???
Hey, there.
So, I was wondering about something that caught my mind here the other day:
In my Stratus, I have fabric seats and I've always wanted leather seats... Is it possible to get a set of original seat covers and use on these? Or are the leather seats bigger? I've tried to find a wreck with leather interior, with no luck, so I guess this would be the easiest way...

From looking at other cars in the same generation, the seats appear to be the same, just a different covering.
I have the black leather in my '00. It's sooo nice. And even though they aren't heated, they only take a minute or so to warm up on cold days (white sheet in the summer is needed though if I'm wearing shorts).
I can't say I've ever actually seen another 1g stratus with leather seats, so a Junkyard model might be incredibly hard to find, unless you're there when it's dropped off! At one point I was wondering if the seats were custom made, as opposed to an apparently rare factory option.

Thanks for the info. SOme friend of mine said that the seats may be different, but I always questioned that statement.
Also, do you know if it's easy to find those wooden-styled decoration moldings for the doors? I might stick to my fabric seats as they get warmer (I live in Norway, so it's COLD at winter), but I might just get a new seat bottom with electric adjusting.
