Head gasket fix - external oil leak only?
Two issues:
1998 Stratus, 4 cyl, 2.4L,
CEL, throwing code P0171. Running great. No misses, nothing. So either the sensor isn't reading it right? Or it's compensating? Not the timing chain, just installed a new one a month ago. Double checked it. Did put some fuel injector cleaner in it. Could that do it? It really runs great....nothing to make me think anything's wrong except the CEL.
Also, separate issue, has a small oil leak, back side of engine, looks like head gasket. Any ideas for external? oil leak. No coolant issues at all. Thinking of waiting to see how much it uses in the next 1000 miles. If it's a quart...I might just add more oil that often.
