hey guys .I'm interested into getting back into another fun descent sports ride and found a 2002 dodges stratus at a local dealer . but are wanted 5k for it , it looks really good for 88k miles on her and the age etc.I was curious how well the drive and can last ? I plan on to travel around the US after this winter . Meaning working from national park to different parks and winter jobs in between for a few years and need something better travel equiped then my old 4runner. or should up a little extra and go with a 2005 model with lesser mileage on the car , same car etc just way lower milage. here is that to the car .

I have a 98 Stratus with over 144,000 miles on it. My car runs good and hasn't given me any major problems yet. I would say if you make sure to have the engine checked to make sure it is in good running condition that taking a trip wouldn't be a problem. Good luck

 

I would have it checked out by your tech that you go to and go over from front to rear.
