Transmission Removal (3.0L) ????
Well, I've got a week before I head back out for deployment training.. So, I hope I can get her fixed by then.. if not, well, putting my wheels back on and 1 mount is gonna have to hold her til I get back..
I read on another forum, the guy had to chisel out the bolts that hold the flywheel, so he could removed it..
Today, I'm actually going to try and heat up that bearing, see if I can get the metal to expand just enough, so I can walk it out.

Okay, so I found yet ANOTHER topic in relation to this style clutch.. I'm going to try it when I get off work later this afternoon. If it works, I will definitely post the method, and "simplicity" of this complicated throw out/clutch release bearing. Lol.
(...if not, a plasma cutter will have to suffice.....!!)

Okay, so update.. I got the clutch release fork removed(partially), after I realized I hadn't rmeoved it. but I can't dislodge it COMPLETELY.. the ring that I am supposed to flatten out, it has two sides, one being the bottom by the service hole, and the top, by the fork.....well I cant reach the top one, and I dont know how to get it out.
I can't find any needle nose pliers LONG or SKINNY enough to reach in there so I can pop it off by twisting it..

I can't believe someone with tons of dealer experience hasn't offered to help??. I wonder if you just don't have big enough screwdriver for this?
Maybe you should try some Mitsubishi web sites. I've had gotten good results with answers about chrysler/mitsu questions on Australian forum boards.

I take that back.. I mean, those videos posted for the PS24 and Mitsu are ****.. in the right direction, but **** none the less.
I actually looked at some videos for an Alfa Romeo and Evo that use the same style clutch, and... low and behold, they were more ON point than those said previously. It's very simple, I just, was having trouble with the wrong ring!!!
SO my transmission is pulled from the motor, but now I need to change out the throw out bearing. I'm not sure how to, but I am going to search it up on youtube some more.

I appreciate the help. I just ordered a new flywheel and mounts for the Stratus. My old flywheel was cracked around one end of the lip, through and through. Now, all I can do is wait for the supplier to ship it out.. Let's see how great this overnight shipping is.
I have been here the whole time. If anyone gets to the point that they need help. Just send me a pm. And i'll do what i can. Here is something i got from the chrysler manual on the manual transmission .

<<F>> CLUTCH RELEASE BEARING DISENGAGEMENT
1. Remove the service hole plug at the clutch housing.
CAUTION
Do not insert the screwdriver before pushing the release
fork to the "A" direction.
2. Insert a flat-tipped screwdriver into space between the
release bearing and the wedge collar while pushing the
release fork to the "A" direction by hand slightly.
CAUTION
If the screwdriver cannot be twisted easily (the release
bearing cannot be disengaged), remove the screwdriver,
and push the release fork to the "A" direction two or three
times to try again. If the clutch release bearing is pried
forcibly, it will be damaged.
3. Disengage the wedge collar from the release bearing by
using the flat-tipped screwdriver to pry gently (twisting the
screwdriver handle 90 degree).
NOTE: If the release bearing is disengaged, the release fork
will move fully to the "B" direction via the return spring.
