Skipping problem
I have a 2002 Stratus. It has approx. 135k miles and the timing belt was replaced about 3 months ago. Shortly after the timing belt was replaced it started skipping really bad. As soon as I start it up it starts to skip and after letting it warm up I put it in reverse to back up and it skips even more. It doesn't seem to do it quite as bad after the engine has warmed up, but it still has a slight skip after it's been running for a while. It's definitely much worse when it's started up, whether it's warmed up or not.
The battery cables were loose and after they were tightened up it didn't help.
Any suggestions/ideas what the problem is or what to do to fix the problem? I'm open to anything. Can't seem to figure this one out.

Did you also replace the spark plugs and wire set? I would start off by doing a compression test, Dry,running and wet compression test. And since the problem started after the timing belt was replace, You may want to start there too.
