my smog pump is giving me problems on my 2005 dodge stratus
I have a 2005 dodge stratus and my smog pump turns on when the car is off and key is not in and it kills my battery does anyone know why it would turn on when the car is off.I unplugg it when the car is off so it don't drain my battery and plugg it back in when im driving it but I wanna know what's causing this please help me out,would really appreciate it.thanks

The air injection pump or as you call smog, is shorted will cause a 12 volt draw.The only to fix this problem is to replace the pump. It takes about 45 mins to do the job. I will send you a pm with the part number.
