Idle control malfunction
- Hi everyone, I am new to the site. I am having and issue with my wife's 1998 dodge stratus es ( 2.5L ). The check engine light came on, it is reading code p0505 for idle control malfunction. I have replaced the tps sensor, iac valve. I have also checked for vaccum leak, found small leak at intake manifold and replaced the gasekt. Also did plugs, wires, cap and rotor. still light will not stay off. Light comes back on sometimes in less than a mile. I have run out of things to do and I dont have the money to take it to the garage. I have heard that possible cause could be the pcm. If anyone has and idea that i have not tryed please let me know.
