I am a new member to this site, thought it could help me out. I am having a issue with my wife's 1998 dodge stratus es (2.5L). The engine light is on with code p0505. I have been fighting this issue for some time now. I have replaced the tps sensor and the iac valve. I also had the intake manifold gaskets replaced, plugs, wires, cap and rotor. The car runs very well with no sign of and issue. The light will not stay off, it sometimes will come back on in about one mile. I do not have the money to take it to the garage but I am out of ideas. Please help if anyone has anything that could help. Thanks.

You may have a shorted wire (to ground, battery, or between wires) in the IAC harness or the PCM may need to be replaced.
