Default Continuous Chiming

Hello - I've heard about cars having a continuous door chime going while driving but have yet to see a solution. I have a 1996 Dodge Stratus - 134K miles on it.

A year ago I had the starter replaced and a new batter put in. About 6 months ago the chiming started and the digital odometer display (along with RPM lever) started acting erratically. Now the chime goes off all the time (except after severe cold - then it starts going once the car is warmed up).

Any possible fixes for this?

thanks much

Welcome to DF
The problem could be a door ajar switch. You need to check all the door ajar switches. Push them in one at a time and see which door stops the chiming.
