i want to know if i can trade a 2.7l v6 for a 3.0l or will i need to change computers too. also would it be cheaper to replace the main bearing , rod bears and valves on the 2.7 along with a timing chain tensioner. the timing chain skipped and cause the valves become bent. also metal flakes in the oil, i sure was cause by the bad plating on the rod bearings. any help?

 

It would be nearly impossible. The 2.7 cars are all chrysler, the 2 door 3.0 cars are pretty much all mitsubishi and there's no interchangeability.

Really lame to have 2 completely different cars with the same name on them. I remember in 87 the Lebaron 4dr, vs lebaron 2dr vs. Lebaron GTS vs Lebarron RWD so many differences all with the name Lebaron and not one common body part.
