looking in to buying a R/T but i don't know much about them.

i want year with the best performance (24 valve V-6 ?)

i like the manual trans, but a automatic may be better for performance

3.0 L with a manual trans is pretty fun! 2005/2006 I believe. I got sideways in 3rd before lol

 

I have a 24 valve V-6 with an auto and it gets 28mpg. It has a 2.5L engine. But you may not find a lot of 1st gen avengers. So has TNtech had said,the 3.0L would be the best motor.

 

Would also help if we knew whether he wanted 2 or 4 door. They did make R/T sedans also. Let's not forget that.

For the coupes, 01-05 perform the same, no difference. Interior and exterior is a bit different between 01/02 and 03/05. Get a manual, because my 4cyl 5spd is just as fast as the 3.0 V6 auto.

The black cars have 'cancer' issues.

 

01/02 R/T's look the best!
