Default Replace with K&N Air Filter?

Hello,

I have an 02 Stratus 2.7L and was wondering if it would be of any type of benefit to replace my air filter with a K&N air filter, or would a regular air filter be just fine?

What would be the benefit of a K&N air filter?

Thanks

I agree with MT. Unless your gonna run a full intake set up, just throwin on a K&N isn't gonna do you much. If your looking for more power and better mpg check out the Weapon-R Secret weapon.

Or even cheaper, buy an Ebay intake and swap out the filter with another cone filter and actually get the same improvements in power and mpg as the brand name ones. I just did this and improved 1.5-2 mpg and slightly more top end power.

Could you post a picture of what this looks like installed in your car? I'd like to see.
