Hi everyone I was hoping for some help to get me through the rest of this job. I just replaced a 2.7 motor in my girlfriends 2002 stratus and I can get the motor to turn over but not start. I checked and there is no spark, also I used a voltmeter and there is no power to any of the coils. I looked at the fuses under the hood and non seem to be blown. Any idea's? I searched this forum and a few other post had mentioned the crank and cam sensors as a possible culprit. Thanks for any advice, Dustin.

 

Did you use the same year engine? No power to the coils isn't any type of sensor. It would be a good idea to get a wiring diagram. I wonder if you missed one connection somewhere or you're using a different year engine with it's harness vs. the cars original wire harness on the motor and something doesn't match up?

 

Thanks for the reply. I know for sure the engines are the same year and I used the original harness from the car. I'll double check all the connections but if anyone has a suggestion it is appreciated.
