I need some assistance in fixing a transmission fluid leak on my Stratus. The car has the 2.7L V6 and the leak is coming from the front left corner of the engine compartment (looking from the drivers seat). I'm not sure what the part is called that it is leaking from but it can only be seen by looking underneath the car. It is right behind the headlight assembly. The leak looks like it is coming from a location where it looks like maybe a sensor or something like that mounts into the part. I know I have provided a bunch of vague details but I'll be more then happy to provide whatever information I can to help resolve this issue.

P.S. I have tried using stop leak but that only work for about a week.

The maybe the transmission cooler. And you may need to remove the headlamp to tighten the clamps.

 

I'll give that a shot and hope for the best. That doesn't seem to labor intensive.
