I'm attempting my first (whole) car respray.. Looking to change my whole car to Satin Silver. The only problem is that I have no experience with paint. I plan on practicing a lot on a fender from a scrap yard before I jump into it, would just like a few recommendations on some good paint.

The link above is where I've been pointed to countless times on my search throughout the interwebz. Please advise if there is something better or the same at a cheaper value.

Also these are quart kits and I'm wondering about how much I would need to complete a whole car project. Maybe a little extra for a little bit of trial and error practicing.

Hot Rod Flatz is a good paint, it is pretty popular with the minitrucker guys...but I have heard it can be pretty complicated to spray...I was wanting to go with HRF on my S10 and had a hard time finding someone to spray it...

 

Take it to your neighborhood body shop and have them do it. Painting a car is no easy task and especially if you have no experience. You'll just end up wrecking a nice car.
