Hello,

I have a 2004 RT and Have owned it for 2 1/2 years now. The dash pad is seperating @ the defroster duct closest to the windshield. Is this repairable? Im guessin the whole thing has to come out. Has anyone else done this ? How time consuming and range of difficulty?
I know its an siiue and Dodge claims there is no issue. NO service bullitens or campains to correct the problem.

Ive posted about this a few times before. There are pictures here somewhere, you will have to browse. Its not too hard to pull the whole dash, and you can do a nice job repairing it if you pull it, but id say its possible to fix in the car. Liquid nails small project adhesive is what you want to use.

 

yeah guess Ill just have to find a long weekend and give it a try.
