Stratus Spark Plugs Question
Sorry if there was already a thread on this, but I used search and I find it baffling there were "no results" when searching for "spark plugs".
I have a completely stock 2005 2.4 DOHC Stratus sedan, and I want to replace the spark plugs (nearing 90,000 miles)...but it seems no matter where I look for info, it's always conflicting on which to use. Copper/OE vs platinum, NGK vs Bosch, etc etc.
I was originally thinking of getting NGK G Power Platinum, but then I read somewhere that Dodge Ram Hemi's don't perform well with Platinums, just to use the cheaper copper V Power plugs which that engine "likes" (obviously trucks may be different from cars). I also read that Platinum in some engines that were mostly stock/non performance can actually be bad for the engine? So my question is, for the Stratus, should I get the standard Copper plugs or Platinum, and which brand is best? It seems most people think NGK is better than Bosch, and the price difference isn't really a big deal. I just want what's best. Thanks!
