Default TCM pins 15,16,17 no 12 volts

1995 dodge stratus es
6 vin H
transmission in limp mode
no code
replace solenoid pack and tcm relay
checked all wiring....good
no 12 volts on pins 15, 16, 17
15 is supply voltage
16/17 output
14 output speed
13 common I/O speed
52 input speed ...reading to ground????

outside that all is good

after install of sol-pac and tcm relay, test drive car changed out and then back to limp

at moment rpm is 30 and speed is 20 to 30

question: is this bad tcm or pcm or need flashing update

question: will 2001 transmission fit in 95
any help thanks

Welcome to DF
Did you ck the 12 volts going to the TCM relay and does it have 12 volts? You should have stored codes in the TCM.

no codes
yes voltage at tcmr at contact side key on/off
reading with tester to harness and to tcm pin
12v on pin 56/11 key off / on
key on/off....no volts on pin 15... supply voltage 12 volts..controls coil on tcmr to allow voltage to pass to sol pac
pin 52 is reading to ground...harness wiring...it is input to tcm from input speed sensor

pin 14 reads good..no short...input from output speed sensor
pin 13 is common to both i/o speed sensors and should read to ground not 52

it seems to fail to pass supply power..15.. to tcmr to close coil to allow volts pass..16/17.. to sol pac

will double check finding tommorrow

but still no code...it is the flashing engine light

only 12 and 55

pcm is no good its internally shorted out. i just had a stratus. in the shop about a month ago same issue. we thought the wires were broke so we got a wip and installed it and still the same issue. then we flashed the pcm no change. i took the pcm from another stratus on the lot and bamm issue gone. so we ordered a new one flashed it and away it went.

tho it is very possable that you have a shorted sensor and its back feeding or a bad graound that back feeding so dont rule out wiring just yet.

my understanding is if key on then 12v at 15...16...17
i have schematics and book on transmission

if i am not getting volt on 15, a supply, the there must be something denying it.

i would think it should be there.unless internal fault on tcm some sensor telling it to not send supply..highly unlikely...lol...im thinking some AI crap now..lol

ign on pin 8 has 12

im leaning toward tcm
all other checks out
no codes
voltage there
wiring good

and thanks for the welcome

new test today

voltage is on pin 15 ..had to test with relay in...car running

still dropping in limp n mode

all wiring harness wire good... no grounds..except those that are suppose to

all pins that are in tcm for ground are properly working

all pin on harness for 12v is good..car off, on, run

received code 66 pcm fail to read tcm

could this be tcm need flash..reprogram
