Default Trunk release; power doors/mirrors; radio don't work

Hi guys and gals, a newbie here! Looking for some repair suggestions and advice. I have a 2005 Stratus SXT sedan (2.4L), approx. 87,500 mi.

Yesterday the battery died. Midas replaced it along with the alternator. After taking it home I noticed that Trunk release; power doors/mirrors and radio don't work.

Funny thing is, if I start the car and use the remote, the doors will lock/unlock, but not using the switch in the cabin. Checked the fuses - all OK. Could Midas have wired the car wrong after replacing alternator?

Also, when did you have their timing belts replaced? I'm due for the 90K service soon and debating on replacing that?

Midas also recommends replacing Struts and Mounts - that costs a fortune. Has anyone had to replace those?

Any help appreciated!!

Welcome to DF

Did you notice if everything was working before? I would start by checking all the fuses in the PDC and on the driver side A pillar of the dash fuse box.

if timing belt hasn't been replaced definately replace it,should've been done at 60000 miles . did they say why you need struts and mounts. stratus does have a problem with there mounts going bad on the rear. its not that hard of a job less then 2 hours to do the rear pair on mine, had the front done at shop

Ended up being a blown fuse. Btw, also had a "No Bus" signal on dash that indicates bad connection to the computer. Replacing fuse fixed it all.

Thanks guys!
