Got a 98 Stratus 2.5L v6.
Car starts fine and idles fine.
When you drive the car 10 to 15 miles, the lights go real bright to normal, the cruise light on the dash comes on even thou I didn't turn it on, the shift indicator starts flashing throw all gears as I am in drive and the engine dies.
Wait five minutes and the car will start up again and the whole thing starts all over again.
Any ideas? Thanks

 

How is the charging system?

 

working fine I think? New battery

 

i think he meant to question your alternator , battery only starts car and provides power when the alternator is strained , as in when many loads are on at a given time.
