The garage tells me I have a fuel pump problem .unless I keep the gas tank toped off the car will quit at about 3/4 of a tank . I had the pump changed a short time ago and it seemed to be fine but it's not .Another garage told me I had a bad fuel level sending unit,would this give me a shut down condition?The car is a 1995 dodge stratus.I need help real bad.Appreciate any and all help. Dave A.

 

i have seen where the fule pump will use gass as a lubercant and if it is left low for too long it will stopp working
