My daughters 2002 Stratus R/T with 3.0 Automatic just quit moving she said she was driving and all of a sudden the engine just started reving and stopped pulling at about 35 mph nothing works no forward are reverse, fluid looks good doesnt smell burnt no metallic in it is there some kind of electronics that would cause this?

 

anybody tell me where this wave washer is that breaks to cause this?

 

The wave washer or snap ring is for the kick down brake, Does the car roll in park? If it doesn't then you have a problem inside the transmission, If it does roll then you may have a broken drive axle.

 

Mechanic said washer broke and took out the pump where can i purchase these parts?
