Exclamation 2002 dodge stratus es 2.7l v6 24v dohc "questions"

The flywheel on this model can go on in 9 different spots. Which way is the correct lineup for the flywheel. The computer box said NO DTC. When I turn the key over 3 times without hitting the starter I get code P1684 then a bunch of --------- then the word done. If the flywheel isn't in the right spot, the crank sensor would send a bad signal wouldn't it?? Please somebody help. The engine has been rebuilt completely. The car fires but won't crank over or start. What am I missing or forgetting???

Not familiar with the flywheel setup in the 2g, but could he mean that the flywheel is a 9 bolt setup, and needs to have hole 1 lines up with bolt 1, hole 2 bolt 2, so on... I don't think the flywheel would be orientation specific.

Are you getting fuel pressure at the rails?
Is there spark when cranking?
What caused the "complete rebuild" to occure, and was it rebuilt to factory spec, or for performance/racing specs?
