Shaking problem in 03 Stratus 2.7
Hello,
First I'll let you know that I do have new brakes and rotors on the car, just replaced. I thought that was the problem, but the car is still shaking very bad while braking. Also, at times I hear a metallic clanging noise from the passenger wheel when going over bumps, and a slight grinding/ticking noise from that side when braking at low speeds (to turn a corner or what not). The abs light is on, but that has been on since I had my hubs replaced 6 months ago. Not sure if the sensor is bad, or if it's not hooked up correctly. Seems like that couldn't be the only thing causing the shaking since I also have the noises. Any ideas??

Make sure the hub nut and wheel lugs are tight. We have also found that some new rotors not made in the US or Canada to come out of the box warped.
A ticking noise sometimes is a bad CV joint. Get on an empty parking lot and do left and right circles at full steering lock. That will make any defective CV joint click.
