Default 2005 stratus flood vehicle This will be fun!!!

I got a 05 sedan with 60k miles. its a flood vehicle but it runs and drives great, and the car looks great too....not sure yet how high the water got, but i do have a few glitches

i get a no-buss when i turn the key all the way back. what does this mean?

fuel gauge works intermittently

wipers dont work. i assume the motor is bad but have not had time to check. could the no-buss have something to do with this or any of the other problems?

power door lock button doesnt work

radio doesn't work(not sure if this is relevant to the other problems)

power seat does not work(its rusty under the seat so i assume the motor is bad)

should this car have a Hi-Beam indicator? the hi beams work but no indicator

the odometer does not count miles.

trunk release button on dash does not work

engine and abs light is on.

whats the best manual to buy??

the hi beam indicator should be near top left of tachometer, have you had the codes read for engine light yet sounds like a bad body control module or maybe dirty rusty connection here is list of what it controls
The body control module provides the following features:
  • A/C switch status/evaporator temperature status
  • BCM diagnostic support
  • Central lock and unlock (VTSS only)
  • Climate Control system support
  • Door ajar switch status
  • Door Lock Inhibit (key in ignition or headlamps/park lamps on)
  • Electronic Odometer Support
  • Headlamp Time Delay
  • Illuminated Entry with "fade to off"
  • Interior lighting with battery save feature
  • Mechanical Instrument Cluster (fuel level, dim data, odometer & warning chime) support
  • Travel information system
  • Power convertible top
  • Power door lock multiplexing control
  • Rear Window Defogger Control
  • Remote Keyless Entry with Panic Mode
  • Remote power deck lid release
  • Remote radio switch control
  • Rolling door lock control (customer programmable)
  • Sentry key immobilizer support
  • Vehicle Theft Security System
  • Wiper Control (speed sensitive with return to park)

very good....most everything on your list does not work, except maybe the rear defrost. the indicator light comes on..not sure if its actually working. i am going to dig out my diagnoistic machine this weekend and read the codes. ill keep you updated.

where is this module located? i have not gotten a manual for this car yet, so i am clueless right now. i am going to try and grap a manual from the auto parts store unless yall recommend something else

typed in wrong info earlier hi-beam indicator is in middle between speed/tach gave my other car location. The module is located on back of fuse panel inside drivers door; don't know if its same(should be close) heres how you get to it or change it on an '04 sedan
REMOVAL
The Junction Block and Body Control Module (BCM) are attached to each other. After removal they can be separated.
  1. Disconnect and isolate the remote battery negative cable from the terminal on the shock tower.
  2. Open the front driver's door and remove end cap.
  3. Remove power mirror switch bezel, radio bezel, and small bezel on the right side of the steering column.
  4. Remove the left lower instrument panel trim.
  5. Remove silencer.
  6. Remove wire harness connectors from Junction Block.
  7. Remove Junction Block three mounting screws.
  8. Remove Junction Block/BCM by pulling straight down from the mounting bayonet.
  9. Disconnect BCM wire connectors and remove the assembly.
  10. Remove Junction Block/BCM from vehicle.
  11. With the Junction Block/BCM removed from the vehicle, separate the BCM from the Junction Block by removing the four screws.
  12. Disconnect BCM from the Junction Block.
  13. Unsnap the remote keyless entry module from the BCM. NOTE:
