I am working on a 1996 Dodge Stratus for a friend of the family that has gone through some hard times. The heat in her car works great but you can't get the defrost or floor modes to work. My question is when you turn the **** to switch modes, is that done electronically or is it activated by a cable.

The car was stolen out of her driveway and recovered. I put a new radiator in it and the heater works fine. They didn't do any damage to the heater ****/radio area, I just had to repair the ignition lock and 2 back windows they knocked out.

Any help would be appreciated. I want to get her back on the road as soon as I can.
