I've got a P0156 code on my stratus, which is Bank 2 Sensor 2. I'm not a car guy so when I went to autozone, I learned that there's 3 different sensors that I can get. Generally, what is that sensor? Is it post/pre catalytic converter or is there a better description that I can use to make sure that I get the right part?

 

Sensor 2 is after converter(downstream) bank 2 is the bank with #2 cylinder,varies by which engine in car

I get the same code. P0156, car wont pass emissions test. I've replaced both the upstream and down stream sensor on bank two. I figured they both were old an probably getting lazy anyway. Any one have any suggestions. I have run out of ideas. When hooked to a scan tool I can see that the voltage from the sensor B2 B2 is 0 (v).

 

could be bad wiring to sensor, or it might be a loose ground not sure about coupes ,on sedans theres a ground strap by muffler could be loose, could be a problem with the Asd relay circuit ,bad pcm, or the sensor you bought was defective
