i have headlight housings for my stratus the spyder one they take a h1 bulb. my question is can i run on each plug a hid since the stratus has the one blub for brights and dims and they dont make a h1 bi xenon bulb or i havent looked hard enough. can two kits run safely without frying anything or what?

Are the spyder light projectors? And are they HID compatable? And i dont think they even make a H1 Hi/Lo Bulb at all? The only ones that might work are the HB1. Post a link to the headlights you have please

These housings run a dual h1 bulb. One for lows one for highs. You can run HIDs in the low beams. You cannot run HID in the highs.
It plugs into your factory plug and splits it for the dual bulbs. They are very easy to install and help the light output greatly. I have them on my stratus with 6ks in the low beams, I rarely use the highs.

They're not compatible with Factory HID, because our cars run 9007 bulbs factory so they won't install into the housing.

You can put H1 Hids in the low beams (the projectors).
