2.4L exhaust and intakefor MPG
Hey Guys,
I am looking into making my 2.4L Stratus get the best MPG possible for cheap. I know that sounds greedy or whatever...but what I want to know is, is there any constricting in the exhaust that can be opened up for more free flowing? I know my truck has a very constricting Y that is frowned upon by everyone over in the truck forum...Anyway, I am looking to improve the flow of exhaust for better economy only, I don't care about sound or perfromance.
Also, I searched for the exhaust question some before posting, but didn't search this next question as I just thought of it and am making a thread anyway...Anyway, with my truck we can make a CAI out of just PVC, and are various ways to make it look better, so it doesn't look like (what it is) PVC. Is there a reason that this can't be done on a Stratus?? Again my only concern is MPG.
Will either of these improve my economy enough to make it worthwhile...I'm not expecting a miracle or anything, but every little bit helps, as long as it pays back the investment in a relatively short time.
Anything else that can be done inexpensively to the car that will be worthwhile to improve economy??
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank You in Advance
