Girlfriend's '03 Stratus Coupe 3.0L drinks a half-quart to a full quart motor oil a week (150-300 miles). Has 120,000 miles, was undoubtedly poorly maintained, and leaks quite a bit of oil, from the valve covers, and probably other places.

I know it's not leaking all the oil it uses; much of it has to be getting burned. Today at work somebody mentioned a valve that tended to clog on his buddy's Chrysler Sebring that would cause heavy oil usage.

Does he have a clue? Is it by any chance the PCV valve?
