ok i got a 1998 Dodge Stratus ok i dont know what engine ok i havnt looked but there r like no performace parts for these cars. i cant find any cat backs or headers or anything else. i want 2 switch 2 a 5 speed but i cant seem 2 find anything 2 do it. ok i guess what ma question is does anyone know where i can get performace parts, exterior accesories, exaust and tansmission part for ma stratus

i was wonderin if anyone ever thought bout puttin a SR20DET in a stratus i mean i know it a nissian being put into a dodge but for like 4g u can get a 240hp sr20det with a 5speed and if this is done what will be needed for it all 2 work

 

Your looking at probaly another 6 to 10k. You would need stand alone fuel managment, custom ecu, fabricated engine and tranny mounts...ect. Alot more work then it would be worth specialy cross breeding manf. If you were going to spend that kind of money why not buy a ride with the engine you want in it or even put a hemi in it. I know so will say it wouldn't work but if they can put a v8 in a focus it can be done.

 

well hell man they been puttin those 350s in the civics and **** like dat. before i do anything to the engine i want to make the car rear wheel drive. now i know a couple of guys that can either make custom parts or help me out with gettin the oarts for cheap. im gonna have one of ma friends to build me a custom exaust. but if i can get the cash up for cross breeding manufactures then i would but its either another 4cyl or puttin a smaller dodge v8 in it.
