Default 2000 dodge stratus

i have a 2000 dodge stratus it has 108,000 miles on it. i just bought it from a guy for 1200. the car runs but when i drive the car an get up to 45 or higher an i let off the gas the car starts to jerk or sputter. the other day i went to back up an the car cut off but i was able to crank it right back up. i had the gas line replaced bc it was leaking. my husband looked under the car when i push on the break an the break line is leaking. the transmission didnt have alot of transmission fluid in it. an the oil was low. i put oil in the car just to get it by till i get it to a machanic. but does anyone know about how much it would cost to replace the line an is the car sputtering bc of the low transmission fluid? also when i shift the gears the whole motor moves some. i mean everything kinda moves with it. is that normal or is something else wrong?

a brake line should run between 100-150 installed and brakes bled, don't think low transmission fluid(did you put fluid in) is causing your sputtering. the engine will move a little maybe an inch or so when you put in gear or rev the engine,if its excessive check the motor mounts

For the sputtering it would help to know what engine you have.

2.0 (typically a 5 speed), 2.4 4cyl, or 2.5 v6.

I would check plugs/wires and valve cover gaskets (oil on spark plugs?)

I would start by draining the trans fluid, and making sure it's the proper kind. I believe the 2.4's used the ATF+4 (the blue bottle from wally world works just fine, no need for the "real" dodge branded atf). Sounds like either wrong trans fluid, or dirty/worn out fluid.
