I have put off finishing the car yet again. Putting classes first. But the transmission is not the issue, I have determined the car is actually in limp mode. Long story short, somebody at a certain chain service shop screwed it up so I am very confident a new wiring harness, with NO SHORTS should solve the issue. My question is, where is a good source for an OEM or better quality harness? Pretty much replacing 95% of the wires under the hood.

I am watching a Chilton's manual on eBay right now, are these good for wiring diagrams? Thanks!

 

I can send you some wiring diagrams by email, just tell me what you need. Also what are the transmission codes, thats causing the trans to go into limp in.

 

I'll PM you my email address, so to keep the spam bots away. But the trans codes have looong been reset. The car sat for a few months because at the time we lived in a duplex and it was unsuitable as a work environment for a car. We moved to the new house, I replaced the battery, fixed the overheating issue (burned out cooling fan motor), fixed the A/C, and so this is where I'm at. I currently have the interior out and I am getting ready for new carpet and other things. So now is the is time to get the wire harness replaced since most of the car is dismantled.

 

can you send me wiring diagrams of the pcm as well of the sensors and fuel pump I have a short circuit and my stratus 1998 2.4L won't start the pcm asd fuse it blows every time I put it on. thanks
