Default No start after checking ac

I'm new to this, so if I'm wrong on where I'm placing my question, forgive me. A friend of mine was checking the AC for no cold air from vents. After checking what seemed to be everything, he tried a direct from battery jumper to the high pressure switch, and when he made contact with the switch(blue wire), the engine completely died and now will only crank, won't turn over. 20 codes show up on the tester, 95% are codes for all kinds of sensors. I don't know what to do now, and what bothers me is that he doesn't either. I thought he knew what he was doing, so here I am looking for help. Anyone have any ideas where to start or what could have happened? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

What yr and what engine? sedan or coupe?
Those are 5volt circuit, you jump it with 12 volt, you are bound to fry something. Until you can give us specific year, Can't tell you too much where to look.

Did you checked all the fuse? did you tried disconnect batt for 5 min ?
worst case scenario, he fried the PCM.

Default 2005 Stratus

My apologies, I should've thought more when I was requesting help. It's a 2005 Stratus sedan with a 2.4L DOHC. I'll check all the fuses tomorrow morning. It sounds like it wants to turn over, but almost like it's not getting enough fuel. I'm hoping that you're info regarding the fried PCM isn't what happened, but then again, I guess it may be a possibility huh? If so, can I put a used PCM or does it have to be a new one?

Also try switching out the asd(auto shutdown relay) in power distribution box under the hood with another relay ,plus unhooking battery for at least 10 minutes
