Issues after transmission replacment
Hello all,
Picked up a 2001 R/T Auto. The transmission was shot, but the engine ran great. We replaced the trans over the weekend. After we got everything put back together and installing a new battery we tried to start it.
The car will not start.. We tried hooking up our Snap-On scan tool but it will not communicate with the car. We have check all fuses and relays.
The engine ran great before we did the trans work. It did sit for a few months with out a battery.. It not getting fuel or spark.
Any thoughts on where we should look next?

Was the work done at a trans shop, or did you put it together yourself.
I would first check to make sure all the cables are connected, not only to the battery+ and grounds, but the wire harnesses to the computer, engine management sensors, and trans management sensors and pack.
If a shop did the work, I would tell them to tow it back and find out why it won't work, since it started before you dropped it off, and find out why it was not tested and demonstrated to you upon delivery.
