Hello,

I live in a state where it's very cold during the winter. When turning the steering wheel from a cold start there is a screeching noise up front. After car is driven a while and the engine is warmed up turning the steering wheel does not cause that noise.

I had a power steering pump replaced several years ago. Hope its not that again.

Any ideas and possible fix for this issue?

 

Sounds as if its a loose or worn out power steering belt.
