Got a 2001 Stratus and want to replace the steel heater lines that run across the inner passenger fender from the overflow tank area to the heater hoses under the wiper area with standard heater hose.

But reaching the hose connections by the firewall is all but impossible! I can barely reach in to blindly touch the hoses. Is it necessary to remove the cowl.... how's one get in there?
