Default 03 stratus sxt coupe headlight housing removal instructions?

So my driver side headlight adjustment **** isnt working and the headlight is shining really high up in the air so I was trying to take the whole assembly out so that I could try to take it apart and sort of manually position the lens.

Anyway, i removed the 3 bolts on top and I got it moving, and i read that you have to "push down" on the front bumper but yeah, thats not doing it. This thing just will not move and if I pry any harder on the bottom to free the lip over the bumper i'm going to break something...

What am I doing wrong here? There is no way I'm taking the whole freakin bumper off to get the assembly out, thats madness!

All cables are disconnected and I do not see any other things that would be holding it in place.

On the bad of the headlight there is a small post that fits in a white plastic clip that clips into the frame. That may be whats holding you up.

The 2.5g headlight is not easily taken apart. They switched adhesives after 2002 and they dont come apart anywhere near as easy as the 2g's.

Yeah we ended up just slotting the bolt holes on the connector so we could angle the whole housing downward with shims. I guess it works for now. I got a side marker out so I'm gonna have to take this thing out eventually, probably try to find a new one with a working adjustment ****.
