Fuel pump help needed

Default Fuel pump help needed

Hi guys. car is a 02 rt stratus. im having trouble getting to my puel pump. under the back seat i have the connections unattatched and the retainer unscrewed. Where do i go from there ? should it pull out ? how is it being held in side ?

Just pull straight up. may have to carefully pry it with a screwdriver.

Thanks for the help pearl01. I got the pump swapped out with a new one. i can hear the pump running but it wont start. the engine sounds like it wants to fire but it doesnt. figured i will swap the filter, see if that works. Is it hard to get to? I read that ill need to drop the tank... Any help is much appreciated.

Fuel filter? Its part of the pump assembly. You may have another problem.

I only bought the pump. I believe the filter is sold with the entire assembly, unless im missing something.
