I took the plugs out and they were drenched in oil.. Crap.. Im going to put in new valve cover gaskets and also the plug tube gaskets [which i forgot to put in before]. Dumb question: Is it okay to re-use the plugs since they have no miles but were drenched in oil ? Can i clean them with carb-cleaner ? I read that the plug wells can be cleaned by inserting a paper towel in the well and then spraying carb-cleaner in it.. Any suggestions greatly appreciated

 

Any ideas ???? I replaced all the plugs and cleaned the ports where the plugs sit. Car smokes from engine bay and won't make power over 2k rpm's. Could this be from a distributor not being positioned correctly ?? Any help appreciated
