I have a '01 stratus r/t. While accelerating mainly in 3rd 4th and 5th my rpm's rise a bit faster than they should(about 1000) then they drop about 500 then act as normal. While the rpm's are doing that the speed is increasing so I don't think the clutch is slipping, but I could be wrong. I can't say this for sure since I don't have a long enough road to test it on, but when I accelerate hard from a complete stop it doesn't do it. I get to about 90 in 3rd and have to let off.

Also, the rpm's act weird like that in all gears but 1st. Even downshifting first it still happens. Anyone have anything similar to this occur before?
