Looking for help in figuring out if the engine in my status is DOHC. I have a rusted oil pan and the parts store needs to know if its single or DOHC. It's a 2002 Stratus SXT 2.4 Liter 16 Valve and looks to be a mitsubishi engine. On the valve cover it only says 2.4 16 Valve however doesn't say DOHC.

Help is appreciated.

not sure if this will help i think the 8th charecter in vin is engine if its a SOHC should be the letter C not sure what DOHC is
