Default 01' Stratus. Water in floorboard.....help

On my fiancee's 01' Stratus she is getting alot of moisture under the floormat on both sides in the front. Seems worse on the drivers side. Just early last year the car did the exact same thing. Me and a buddy of mine replace the Heater Core assuming that it was leaking. Well after that it stopped and now here again we are having the exact same problem. Keep in mind the heater core is brand new. Bought and installed last year.

Could this be something else? Or maybe a faulty core? I have checked for rain leakage and it dont appear to be from rain. She drives it in the rain and has not noticed anything dripping.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Any way to test or have it tested for a heater core leak besides assuming??

are you losing any coolant? ,can you smell anything? sedan or coupe, sunroof on no sunroof think drain runs down front door column, sedans the a/c drain tends to clog(there was a bulletin out with a revised drain not sure if it was for 2001) usually worse on passenger side, check herehttps://dodgeforum.com/forum/dodge-s...s-2-5l-v6.html ignore the pictures they act weird on this site , also check under door frame and fenders should be drain holes there

Thanks for the reply and info Bill. Its a 2 door coupe with a sunroof. As far a coolant I checked it and when I topped it off it only needed very VERY little. Smell? Yes smells very bad where its just staying moist all the time. I will be able to tell better if its coolant/A/C drain, or rain water when all this rain stops. Its been raining like crazy for days straight and more to come here in the Carolinas.
