Hi I have a 98 Dodge Stratus with a 2.4. The fuel pump went out on it so I went and bought a new one. The gas gauge worked before I had the fuel pump replaced. After it was replaced by a shop the gas gauge read full. I went and filled the tank from where the tank was left and it took 25 dollars to do it. Now my question is since the gas gauge read full and now I filled it will the gauge fix it's self?

 

anything's possible slight chance float stuck on full and may loosen up, if not check wiring make sure not reversed, or loose , does gauge cycle when you turn key , could be bad sending unit in new pump
