2002 stratus r/t 3.0

i got a loud tapping or knocking sound coming from the belt side of the motor some say its the timing belt slapping around but i took the cover iff and it dont look like it to lose can anybody help with info on this

I start isolating by removing the fan belts and start the engine and hear if you the knocking sound is gone. If the sound is still there, then you need to go futher
