2.7l stratus q's
I have a few questions related to my 2005 Dodge Stratus 2.7L auto with 84,9xx Miles.
I have an oil light on after driving for a long time when idling. used to flicker, now it kinda just stays on, only once car is hot. car is losing water, i took it to a shop, and they said that the thermostat housing is leaking, theres evidence underneath of water leaking from somewhere, but I cant tell where from... I was told by a buddy of mine, that there's a water weep hole on the same location under the car, and wondering if it is possible that the water pump could be leaking? so...TL;DR
Does the 2.7L in 2005 STILL need the TSB for the vent on the oil pressure switch, or should I change the oil with something better? shop said "pressure is in spec" about a year ago (the first time I took it in to get switch replaced)
how common is a leak from the thermostat housing, and is my friend right that it could be a failing water pump? if so, how can I tell?

my 04 had both before I traded it in, the thermostat housing is a real pain to change out either have to remove intake ,or get a 8mm flex head ratcheting wrench, one of the bolts only have enough room to turn it 1/8th to a 1/4 of a turn each time I recommend getting the part from dealer, one auto place had problems with there's not as DURA ble didn't LAST (hint),there is a weep hole for water pump usually when pump goes it pours out . you can check with dealer about that tsb the only one I ever saw was for 2001 only
