Overheating after 30 minutes
I've got a 2006 Dodge Stratus SXT that's been overheating. I've changed the thermostat, radiator cap, and the coolant temperature sensor (after I discovered the fans weren't kicking on), but after driving for 30 minutes, the car still over heats. When it does, all the coolant is being pushed to the reservoir. The water pump is a little over a year old (I replaced it when I changed the timing belt since it was right there) and the radiator looks to be in working order. All fuses and relays are working as well. Any suggestions?
Quick little update: fans kick on when the heater or A/C is on, but don't kick on when they're off. I know when the A/C is on, the fan is on, but on the low speed, which could explain why it takes a little while to overheat. Do I need to trace the wires from the coolant temperature sensor to the computer to see for problems?
