Default Blend door

Hello 2001 stratus only blows cold air ,all the vents ,defroster ,floor, front , blow ,but only cold air . Where is the blend door Actuator located , is it to the right of the center accessed from the passenger side under the console There is one under the drivers side that moves the vents ,I see it move .there is also one next to that one . I think I could get the one under passinger side but don't want to remove the wrong one its not going to be easy thanks

do you have a sedan or coupe(entirely different vehicles) if you have a sedan try pulling fuse #5(might be different fuse on 2001 its either has a cover over it or area under fuse is raised slightly) under dash for 10 minutes put fuse back in start car and let idle for 5 minutes then check controls . I think its on passenger side ,try turning on and off recirculating see if it moves to be sure

If a coupe, its apparently "on the heater box under the dash". Quoted from 2gstratus. Ive personally never dealt with it, Im not sure.

It's usually a coupe that has these kinds of problems.

In my near 10 years of being on both the Stratus Coupe and 3rd gen Eclipse forums, I have only seen this issue come up once and only just recently.

yes you can unhook battery also ,best to unhook negative post on wheel well instead of trying to get to battery , make sure it doesn't touch anything metal , its a pain to get to battery
